Plating resistance agent ZD201

Product Features and Functions:

ZD201 Anti-Plating Agent is the latest product of CANFA company, researched and developed to meet the demand for local non-galvanizing of steel pipes and structural steel. The product consists of component A (solid powder) and component B (water-soluble liquid), which are mixed in a certain ratio when used and can be applied to the surface of the workpiece to be non-plated by brush or roller. After this coating dries, it has the ability to resist acid pickling and resist flux corrosion, the galvanizing process has less smoke and odor, is non-toxic to the human body, has a very good anti-plating effect on the non-plated surface, and is low in cost.

Application Method:

• Prepare the materials according to the ratio: A:water:B= 1:2:1.5~2.0, put them into the mixer in the order of A – water – B (if there is no mixer or the mass is not large, you can use a plastic bucket with a large mouth, such as a basin). Mix well into a paste and use as a coating.
• Use a brush or roller to apply/roll onto the surface to be masked. This surface does not need to be pre-treated. Apply/roll evenly to avoid missing spots. After drying, roll/brush/spray a coat of B again. The coating is formed after complete drying, at which point it can be moved to the acid pickling process.
• The ZD201 anti-plating coating can withstand acid pickling for 1 hour.
• The fluxing and hot dip galvanizing operations are the same as those for conventional hot dip galvanizing.
• After galvanizing, the ash formed from the anti-plating coating can float on the surface of the zinc solution, just skim it off without affecting the quality of the zinc solution.
• If chromate oxidation treatment is required, remove most of the ash before putting it into the oxidation solution. However, if the ash in the chromate oxidation solution increases, filter it to remove the ash. It will not affect the chemical properties of the oxidizer.

Product Packaging and Storage:

• Component A: 40kg/bag, packed in plastic bag inside and woven bag outside, waterproof. Shelf life: 03 years.
• Component B: packed in 50kg plastic drum. Do not mix with organic solvents. Store in a cool and dry place at a temperature of 5 ~ 45°C, avoid freezing during transportation and storage. Shelf life: 6 months.
