Bismuth – Zinc alloy

Alloy Types:

• Zinc-bismuth alloy containing 1% bismuth
• Zinc-bismuth alloy containing 3% bismuth

Application:

• Galvanized construction materials
• Galvanizing of steel pipes by blowing

Functions of the Alloy:

• Reduces the surface tension of the zinc liquid and improves its fluidity.
• Reduces the thickness of the galvanized layer and zinc consumption. Decreases the amount of zinc dust and dross.

How to Add the Alloy:

• Select the alloy with different composition and content according to the coating requirements;
• According to the composition of the zinc liquid, the alloy is added periodically during the production process.

• Zinc-bismuth alloy has strict requirements on time and quantity.
