Application Scope:
- Galvanizing of large quantities of structural parts
- Galvanizing of high-speed materials
Role of Alloy Purification:
- Removes metal oxides, non-metallic oxides such as S, P and other impurities in the zinc liquid, increases the fluidity of the zinc liquid and improves the coating.
- More uniform, lower zinc consumption
- Reduces the surface tension of the zinc liquid and increases the wettability of steel
- Improves the corrosion resistance and brightness of the coating
How to Add Refining Alloy:
- After the zinc pot is dug, the alloy is added and evenly poured from 2/3 of the bottom depth in the middle of the zinc pot at different locations along the length of the zinc pot. After 6 hours, scrape off the scale on top and start production again.
Notes:
- The refining alloy has strict requirements on the addition time, addition location and addition amount. Adding too little will not be able to clean the zinc pot, and adding too much will affect the galvanizing quality.
- Units using the refining alloy for the first time must notify our company for on-site guidance.
Special Alloy for Continuous Galvanizing of Steel Frames
Application Scope:
- Continuous galvanizing of steel frames
Alloy Type:
- Prepare an antimony-containing alloy according to alloy R28 (the two alloys are directly added to the zinc pot for use)
